I'm sorry to have left all three of you hanging. Please forgive me.

SUMMER IS HERE - and I'm a happy happy camper.
A while back I received an AMAZING package in the mail via my friends at matchstick.ca:

I may or may not have squealed when I unwrapped it. This beautiful black case came filled to the brim with Maybelline makeup, including the gorgeous shadows and liners from the new EyeStudio line.
Now I'm generally a big M.A.C girl - but these shadows are brilliant - they go on smooth and vibrant, and although they have a creamy consistency, they don't gather in creases like most cream-based makeup.
Below are some shots of my experiments with the line. Sadly the webcam pics don't do justice to the vibrancy...



As usual - Maybelline are on top of the mascara game. A loyal user of their classic GreatLash mascara (you know the pink and green tube), I was excited to try the four (yes FOUR) mascaras that came in this kit. Needless to say I'm in love. The extensions and curling ones are amazing.

Well done, Maybelline. I am officially converted. Love these products.

More to come this summer - I've decided it is the Summer of love and it will be full of road trips, music, sunshine and fabulous friends old and new!

new things!

New red lips courtesy of M.A.C - I often feel I look like a clown with red lips. My lips aren't small and red tends to amplify them to the umpteenth degree - and make my teeth look a beautiful shade of yellow while it's at it, but with the help of my friend Ashley I found a colour that works and now get to rock the festive holiday red with the best of them!

Another fun find. What time is it? TIME TO ROCK (obviously) - mad cheesy guitar-shaped watch for like $8.00 (2 for $15). God bless the mall.
