Can't wait for this issue of V Fair!
My Oscar prep is coming along, I saw THE READER over the weekend with my friend Jessica. It was a very good film, very intense... unfortunately a bit too intense for the chick in the back row who started SOBBING out loud during a pivotal scene. Now, I'm a huge cry-face when it comes to movies, and while this particular scene was very sad - it did NOT by any means warrant that type of explosive sob-fest. She totally distracted us from the movie, and I was actually pretty angry since I was just getting really into it after wrestling with anxiety for most of the film.

Slumdog Millionaire is selfrighteous and gay. Also the premise makes little to no sense. And its gratuitous use of terrorist like violence sickens me.
