You give me fever...

I have been struck down in my prime. The dreaded flu bug has finally caught me. I ALMOST made it through the winter without a single bout of illness. So close.
I was nearly convinced I was dying last night. I'd been up since 5am but my body refused to let me sleep. I could barely walk or stand from aches and exhaustion. Then came the nausea. I was just lying there thinking, I don't have the strength to throw up... this is not going to end well...

Luckily I fell asleep, but not for long. I woke up and my whole face and jaw was throbbing from blowing my nose so much. I HATE being sick.

Of course being sick reminds you of how single you are when there's no one to bring you soup, kleenex or vitamin water. A lovely pre-valentines kick in the pants.

The only good thing about today? After taking a couple advil I passed out again and had feverish dreams about making out with Mickey Rourke. *swoon* Don't judge me, I'm not alone in my Rourke-love.

Speaking of my dreamboat, Oscar night is fast approaching and I'm quickly whittling down my movie list.
