15 years ago today the world received some sad and shocking news. I'm not going to go on a huge tangent about Kurt. We all know the impact he had on the music world, and on millions of fans. He is not soon to be forgotten.
I didn't want to post some tribute video or anything over the top. Just this performance, which remains one of my favourite Nirvana moments. Something about this particular one has always captured me, at 4:48 the way he looks up and takes a breath is quite haunting. Less than 5 months after this recording, Kurt was gone.
Rest in Peace, Kurt. We miss you.
