I get by with a little help from my friends...

This weekend is the 40th anniversary of the Legendary Woodstock Music & Art fair held in 1969 at a 600 acre dairy farm in Bethel New York. A weekend of free love, incredible music, and general hippie-dom. The festival has gone down in history as one of the most important moments in rock history and rightfully so. Here's a few of my favourite videos from that fabulous weekend. I'm pretty sure I was there in another life.

Joe Cocker. I had the incredible honor of watching him rock it from front-of-house in Hamilton a few weeks ago. A living legend. The man has still got it. There's no mistaking him.

Crosby Stills and Nash covering Blackbird. Ridiculous.

CCR Born on the Bayou. Magic.

If only our current society weren't so fucked up, and our music scene so barren...

I wish we could do this again.

Geez!! I would give everything I have to go back in time and attend such a concert! Agreed, nowadays music is no longer like at that time, where they could rock a whole nation!!
