and the WORST MONTH OF LIFE award goes to...

NOVEMBER, 2009!

I've taken some particularly hard hits this month, both personally and professionally, but it's amazing how resilient one becomes over time - you learn to cry it out, mourn it, and then get on with it. Life is too short to stew in misery.

I went out to my sun deck just now to have a cigarette and ponder recent events and next steps, when suddenly from somewhere below me, the first piano notes of "Tiny Dancer" floated up to me.

How can you not think of this beautiful scene in this beautiful film when hearing that song? This movie has always been most poignant for me.
I AM Penny Lane.

So what does it mean that such a song would come to me at such a time? Perhaps I need to hit the road with a rock and roll band?

Time will tell...

What do you think?

seriously sounds like a good way to (not forget but) get over old memories and make some new ones, while transitioning smoothly into a future that has a potential to be great
